Waiting for Hate Mail

The Production

The Bridge Theatre Training Company’s professional re-staging of Mark Akrill’s Waiting for Hate Mail played at Seven Dials Playhouse in January 2024, starring Bridge graduate Nick Morrison-Baker as Joe Brewer. Set in an airport and inside Joe’s mind, the one-man production uses recorded voices to chart an unsettled confrontation with memory, racism, loss and forgiveness.
