The Production

Mountview’s BA Acting students presented Lucy Kirkwood’s The Welkin at The Backstage Theatre in December 2025. Set in 18th-century Suffolk, the production follows a jury of women summoned to decide whether Sally Poppy is pregnant and can be spared execution.
