The Production

Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts staged Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler’s musical thriller Sweeney Todd - The Demon Barber of Fleet Street at The Mack Theatre, performed by its Musical Theatre students in a double-cast run from 25 October to 1 November 2025. The production brought the dark Victorian world of Sondheim’s classic to Mountview’s Peckham stage with a student company and professional creative team.
