The Production
Kiln Theatre, in association with Paines Plough, presented the world premiere of Amy Ng’s Shanghai Dolls at Kiln Theatre, London. The two-hander traces an imagined friendship between Jiang Qing and Sun Weishi as theatre, ideology and political upheaval collide in twentieth-century China.
