The Production
James Graham’s Dear England is the National Theatre production directed by Rupert Goold, first staged in the Olivier Theatre before transferring to the Prince Edward Theatre. The play follows Gareth Southgate’s transformation of the England men’s football team through a theatrical portrait of leadership, psychology and national identity.
