The Production

Regents Opera’s in-the-round staging of Wagner’s Götterdämmerung at York Hall, Bethnal Green, completed the company’s full Ring cycle with a chamber-orchestra arrangement. The production placed the epic finale in an intimate boxing-hall setting, reframing the cycle’s mythic world through a contemporary art-gallery lens.
